Massage
Massage is Hands-on kneading and stretching of
muscle and connective tissue to promote relaxation,
health, and well-being. It often combines active
and passive movements of the joints, and it may
include the use of massage oils or lotions. The
benefits of massage include stress reduction,
increased blood circulation, mental and physical
relaxation, decreased muscle tension, and improved
range of motion and flexibility. As a result,
massage helps the body remove toxins, deliver
nutrients to tissues and cells more efficiently,
and recover from strains and trauma more quickly.
Our massage therapists practice Swedish, Thai,
Deep Tissue, and Sport massage. You can determine
the amount of pressure used, so the massage can
be as deep or as light as you communicate to the
therapist. The therapist can provide a full body
massage, or focus on specific areas of the body,
such as the neck and shoulders. In all massage
sessions, your body will be covered, exposing
only the area that is being worked.
