Applied Kinesiology
Applied Kinesiology (AK) is a complementary holistic
healing method that was founded in the United
States in 1964 by a chiropractor named George
Goodheart. The basic premise of Applied Kinesiology
is that the human body, including the muscular
system, remembers all past experiences, particularly
the negative ones.
The human body’s memory begins in the womb and continues
to the present day. Negative experiences transfer
into blockages in specific organs or body systems,
which can then cause health problems.
At Camelot, we use Applied Kinesiology to diagnose
allergies and nutrition deficiencies with a technique
called muscle testing. This technique is based on
the fact that certain muscle groups tend to weaken
when:
- One is ill
- One is allergic to certain allergens
- One is suffering from food deficiency
Muscle testing is based upon the fact that there
is a direct connection between your subconscious
and the muscles in your body. This means that the
answers come from your body, and therefore are always
correct.
After diagnosing, the practitioner will suggest
ways you can improve your health, including nutritional
recommendations, dietary supplements, and other
steps towards wellness. The diagnostic characteristics
of Applied Kinesiology offer true and objective
answers, are appropriate for all ages, and treat
most physical, psychological, and spiritual health
problems.
