Guided
Imagery is a sophisticated and extremely useful form
of meditation that uses images and symbols to train
the mind to create physiological and psychological
effects. It brings physical relaxation, reduces
stress, enhances mental health, and develops insight
and understanding.
Our community sessions start with a short introduction
(recommended if this is the first time you attend),
followed by a guided relaxation and imagery. Both
regular and meditation chairs are available,
yet it is recommended that you bring some additional
cushions and/or a blanket to make sure you
are comfortable.
The meditation sessions are open and free for you
to experience and enjoy Guided Imagery. If you
have attended our group guided meditation before,
there is a $10 charge to maintain this service. Since
these sessions are more about the experience itself,
you are welcome to stay after the meditation for any
questions and/or more information.
